Central States Metal Buildings team works with a select group of frame builders across the country to provide the expertise to build your dream. Professional welders construct the primary framing members from high-quality steel. Frames are designed and approved by a professional engineer, parts cut to spec, and fabricated to meet the unique design of your building. That means you receive a complete building package, along with erection drawings, resulting in faster construction and lower costs.

From a simple 20’x30′ to clear spans over 150′, the process is easy and we’ll help you every step of the way. We believe in providing quality products at competitive prices. Central States red iron meets the requirements of IAS accreditation for Cold-Formed Steel Structural and Non-Structural Components Not Requiring Welding (MB-249-B).

Are anchor bolts included?

No, anchor bolts are to be provided by the contractor pouring the foundation.  The stamped drawings provided by Central States / Metal Central show where the bolts need to be placed in order to assist the contractor.

What is included in a Central States Metal Building system?

All the metal framing and metal components (panels, trim, and accessories) for the contracted metal building are included.

Can you price windows, doors, and insulation?

We can price and supply metal building insulation and metal building walk doors. Metal Central does not currently supply or quote overhead doors or windows.

Does Metal Central erect the building or do you have a network of builders?

No, Metal Central does not erect the building. We work with a large network of local contractors and can help guide you to contractors who erect buildings, but cannot make a specific recommendation to one specific contractor. If you do not currently have a builder, you can contact us to find one.

How is the building delivered and unloaded?

If jobsite delivery is requested, the building will usually be delivered to the jobsite on 2 or more trucks depending on the size of the building and options selected.  Example: 1 truck of components, 1 truck of frames , and 1 truck for insulation.

For jobsite deliveries, Metal Central does not provide unloading of the materials and typically we do not have the material handling equipment on board to offer unloading. Customers requesting jobsite delivery should be prepared with their own material handling equipment on site to unload and erect the building. Your equipment should be able to handle at least 3,500 pounds.
